Subaru only cares about the Volkswagen Golf R and the Honda Civic Type-R compact sports car, not the luxury model Mercedes-AMG 45 S.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine in line with the 2022 Volkswagen Golf R produces 315 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

The 2022 Honda Civic Type-R 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine produces 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
