Repair and supply of new and refurbished laptops, PCs, tablets, Apple devices, software and accessories; One to one tuition with any aspect of using IT. Honest, effective, prompt. I began working in IT in the late 1990s, when I joined Spectrum Components in Little Eaton, wholesaling computer components, building and repairing computers and laptops. This provided the opportunity to learn about many aspects of IT from cabling and networking through software to consumables and accessories. After 7 years in that position I worked in IT retail in Ashbourne for another 9 1/2 years before deciding to set up my own business so that I could offer the level of service that I wanted to - concentrating on high levels of customer care. I established my own business in 2016 and haven't looked back since. I offer fast response often same-day and effective solutions in understandable language and a friendly manner. I also enjoy giving computer, tablet and phone tuition in your home. It is a real pleasure to see a person improve their knowledge and skills so that they can use their equipment confidently and fluently. I have discovered that it is best to tailor every lesson exactly to each pupil's needs. I also offer an equipment recycling service - with 0% going to landfill, as it is so important to consider the future generations to come. Part of this service includes secure wiping hard drives to MOD standard, so that any personal data is impossible to recover, giving you peace of mind. Having worked in the trade for 20+ years, I can source new equipment at trade prices and offer good advice regarding what equipment is best suited to your needs. Jeremy took time to explain things to me and offered me advice on how to work certain elements of the laptop, just over and beyond the call of duty. The laptop is working fine actually better than when it was new, Jeremy is like a top surgeon in his field of expertise who is honest and reassuring at the same time. Such qualities are seldom seen in the world of business today, it all seems robotic and detached, so if you want the best service and great after-service then Jeremy is your man.

Reviewed on 24/08/2021I asked Jeremy to help me out with two laptops based on the strength of his past reviews and was glad that I did. He replaced the screen on my wife's laptop which had drowned! and following further discussion with him opted for a new drive and also a backup drive. The machine is now so much faster and we have the security of being able to easily back up. My own computer also needed a new screen and hinge and again also chose a new drive plus back up drive as well as faster RAM - again much faster. For both machines Jeremy transferred all data nothing was lost anywhere and sorted out some other incidental niggles and was always available to explain what he was doing and answer any queries. All in all a good experience and cheaper than buying two new replacement computers which would not have been to the new faster specification.

Unfortunately I couldn't use the Easyshare from my old computer to move 20,000 photos and 30 days worth of ITunes from the old to the new computer, but Jeremy got everything sorted out for me. Jeremy looked at my laptop and very soon had the problem sorted out alongside fixing other things which were badly affecting it's performance, thus improving the laptop and saving me a considerable amount of money. Reviewed on 23/05/2021When my PC hard drive failed, I feared I had lost all my files, which included irreplaceable photos. Not only did Jeremy restore the PC to a fully functioning condition, updated to Windows 10 and a full suite of software, but all my old files were recovered. I now have a quite high spec PC at a much lower cost than buying new and I have my old files. I also had a laptop with an intermittent fault, which other companies failed to diagnose and resolve after several attempts, restored to reliable working and upgraded spec, again much less costly than replacement.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to fix my laptop fault, but he went as far as he could before concluding it wasn't worth going any further. So he is honest. Perversely, the fault corrected weeks later, so maybe he did fix it after all?

Within 20 minutes, I had lost over 10 years worth of data. Frantically searching for options, I came across Jeremy through a Google search and honestly, I am so thankful for him as he promptly managed to get access to a very damaged hard drive. Over 2 weeks, he retrieved 2TB worth of personal and professional date. In addition to this, he advised me on what I should do to ensure I never had to experience this again. Jeremy is professional, kind and he understands the value of personal data. Through ongoing correspondence, Jeremy presented me with various options with a final cost for his services which he stuck to. With little expense, he made my computer like lightning and saved me hundreds of pounds as I was ready to bin it and buy an expensive new one. I'm glad I didn't. He's also a very friendly and knowledgeable human being which is an extra. Other computer guys in the past have been rather clinical and lacking in humour. I trust him and would refer a relative for help.
