This year’s lecture by Dr. Suzanne Bakken will focus on the importance of engaging communities to advance health equity across health informatics and data science innovations. These emerging priorities raise multiple questions surrounding community engagement, such as how community perspectives be elicited and considered throughout the design and implementation life cycle. This virtual event is co-sponsored by NLM, the Friends of the National Library of Medicine, and the American Medical Informatics Association.
