Sáng ngày 07/6, hơn 21.000 thí sinh tỉnh Hải Dương tham dự kỳ thi tuyển sinh vào 10. Bài thi tiếng Anh được thực hiện vào ngày 07/6 với 50 câu trắc nghiệm, thời gian làm bài 60 phút. Thí sinh dự thi vào các trường THPT không chuyên sẽ phải làm 3 bài thi môn Toán, Ngữ Văn và Tiếng Anh. Bài thi môn Toán và Ngữ Văn theo hình thức tự luận, thời gian làm bài trong 120 phút. Năm 2022-2023 khi dịch bệnh đã được kiểm soát, các thí sinh được tham gia kỳ thi tuyển sinh vào 10 an toàn. Đề thi Tiếng Anh được cho rằng không khó, vừa sức bám sát với kiến thức được học ở chương trình THCS. Đề thi Tiếng Anh tuy hơi dài nhưng không quá khó so với năm 2021. Với phần đọc hiểu, thí sinh làm cẩn thận có thể nhận được full điểm phần này. Riêng câu 3,4 thí sinh cần tư duy nhưng nhìn chung không quá khó. Phần làm văn có câu hỏi nghị luận xã hội khá hay. Yêu cầu thí sinh trình bày suy nghĩ về ý nghĩa của những khó khăn, thử thách trong hành trình của một người trưởng thành.

Tóm lại đề thi năm nay có chất lượng tốt, phân hóa tốt giữa những học sinh trung bình, khá, giỏi. Đề thi không đánh đố học sinh. Với đề thi này không quá khó để đạt điểm 8-9.
