The UP-state government plans to provide free tablets and smartphones to graduate and postgraduate students of technical, medical, and nursing colleges. In a meeting, UP CM Yogi Adityanath wastasked with preparinga list of eligible students so that smartphones and tabletscouldbe distributed to students byEndofNovember.Chief Secretary RK Tiwariis reported to havesaid the devices will helpdigitally empowerstudents and createemploymentopportunities for them.
Hewas responsible forpreparing informationfor students enrolled in their colleges affiliated with state universities. Atthesame time,instructionsweregiven to send this information to thedistrict judicial offices.
Thisoffice will verify information at the district level under thedirectionof the Industrial Development Department and distributesmartphone tablets.
