I bought the phone in April 2019. I took real good care of the battery until I was forced to use the phone as a hotspot for prolonged periods and it killed the battery by December 2022. But that battery gave me more than 3 1/2 years of service. I replaced the power button a few months ago, about 4 years after buying the phone. I did go through two shockproof back covers[they all disintegrated with time] and now using the phone without one. Also, went through multiple screen protectors.
I have the 3GB RAM version. I have installed many ROMs, but I keep returning to MIUI mostly because my phone does not have enough RAM. Also, custom ROMs aren't the best when it comes to battery life. The best custom rom I got so far was PixelExperience A13. [A12 sucked a lot of battery btw]. Right now I am on Android 9 MIUI 11 runs great.
Saw other people get display issues because of low-quality Tianma displays. I have the same model/make. But I made sure not to use full brightness and always used the dark mode with night/reading mode enabled.
Gcam takes good photos. Video stabilization works.
All in all, a really solid phone

This one bad. It freezes like 5 times a day someone told me to using custom ROM to fix the fre... its hardwar problem if u tried to flash it many time with same result, hot air fix or change motherboard

This one bad. It freezes like 5 times a day someone told me to using custom ROM to fix the freeze but it didn't work. I tried arrow os. Elixir project. And now I'm using derpfest. It smooth than miui. But still freezing for no reason

Bought in 2019 and now the phone is lagging so much I cannot open most of the apps, screen ran... I bought at end of 2019, in Sept 2023 my phone always restart automatically when I play music, video, YouTube, tiktok, video story, I often clean cache and my internal memories doesn't full. So I think I have to change new phone.

Bought last October 2019. Going 4 years now. Battery is still good. Fast charging, and doesn't drain so fast and can last a day from a time to time use. Buttons are still functioning. Sometimes it freezes and restarts maybe once a week. I think a the problem is having a notification that I got a low storage. Since then I keep it a free space of minimum 5gb to keep the phone working so well. The phone is everyday use since bought. I want to upgrade but still have no savings for new one. My RN7 still rocks.

Whoever having problems with the device, such as performance issues, I recommend you to change the battery and give it a custom ROM, use Pixel Experience [ Lavender ], and your life will be glorious.

I've been using RN7 for 3 years, but now i've some issue.. Power and Volume Button didnt function at all now.. I Cant restart my phone. It died and I cant turn on my phone now.. Can someone suggest me what I must do..?
