Hello - Running the Spotify Web Browser, playback will pause at 9 seconds into each track, then resume at 10 seconds. I have had this issue before and found it to be related to DRM if I neglected to allow the 'location' check to verify that I'm allowed access to protected content, etc.
Lately, however, even when allowing the location check, the playback drop-out still occurs whereas it worked just fine for a long time, all else being the same. Version 79 worked fine -- until it didn't, a week or so ago-- and the incident persists with update to version 80. Assume this is still some sort of DRM [Digital Rights Management] problem, where it checks at 9-10 seconds, causing the momentary drop-outs, but can't find a solution. Have gone thru settings for obvious items but nil.

Samsung CB3, uBlock Origin, all up-to-date.

Hi Jim,
Firstly, in case an installedextension or cache issue is causing this, please try this:
Reset Chrome settings to default
//support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3296214?hl=en
Then restart your Chromebook.
You should also try reaching out to Spotify Support to see if it is a known issue.

OK, still have the issue. Don't want to reset the CB but have tried incognito mode and guest mode with no change. However, I have tried 2 other chromebooks that we have in house and both of those work just fine. In fact, one of them is identical [Samsung CB 3] to the one with the issue. All are up-to-date with V 80 etc and all run UBlockOrigin. Obviously an issue with this particular CB, think something with settings but haven't found the right item. Thoughts? Thanks -Jim

As you know, Spotify music is encoded fro its digital rights management. So to play the songs on my computer, I use AudFree Spotify music downloader. The songs will not be paused to play as I own the songs. Therefore, I control the songs. Apart from playing the music on web browser, I play them on my own devices like MP3 players.
