Vitamin c 30 in silicone review

I bought the product for pigmentation, it’s quite a harsh product with a very odd texture. If you try spreading over your skin it doesn’t sit very nice and goes...

• Ok

  While this product works great but I just prefer the powder Vitamin C. I felt the silicone feels oily on my skin and doesn't go well with my other skincare.

• DO NOT BUY

  Not worth anything, doesn’t do anything other than burn irritate and ruin your skin

• Don’t love the feel

  I don’t love the silicone feel of this one. I much prefer the vitamin c powder mixed in with the hyaluronic acid serum

• Not for my senstive skin

  This vitamin c did brighten my skin, however it left a stingy feeling on my face. Perhaps my skin is too sensitive. I will consider another product in the future.

• Great

  I now use this Ordinary products every night with this being on the top of the list.

• Cheap and effective

  Loved this product, a much nicer texture than the other Vit C The Ordinary sells. Applies nicely and leaves your skin feeling smooth and bright. Awesome price, only negative is that it doesn't come in a bigger bottle.

• Amazing results

  I tried both vitamin C serums and found the spheres one to grainy so tried this one in silicon and loved it. Can not apply straight to my face as quite stingy due to percentage but works wonders with my moisturiser. Great for redness and acne scaring. Is now in my everyday routine.

• Value for money

  While this isnt my favourite Vitamin C product it will be the one I continue to use. The price point means I am happy to overlook some of its shortcomings. I dont love the texture but I certainly havent had any significant issues with it.

  Another decent product by the Ordinary. It smoothes out my skin. I recommend it!

• Goes on like velvet - shame about the stain

  I loved this product - went on super smoothly and made my skin feel a million dollars. I think the reviewers complaining about the grainy texture might be thinking of the Vit C product with HA spheres. Unfortunately, a few months of using this every second night left me with fingernails stained orange like a 40 a day smoker and I've had to stop using it. Also turned my bed linen yellow.

  It smells awful and reacts horribly with all skincare products even from The Ordinary. it would start to crump up, crack and peel under a layer of sunscreen or moisturiser. It just became awful visible paired with any product. I will not purchase this again. And the SMELL....

• New to vitamin C

  I have just recently added this to my night time routine I have sensitive skin and was worried to use this product but I was surprised to find it was fine

• Love it!

  Does what it supposed to at a bargain price. Clears and smooths my skin.

• Normal to Dry Skin

  I have normal to dry skin and have found this cleanser to be very gentle I can use it twice a day without feeling stripped of natural skin oil Love it!

• Best budget vitamin C!

  This product is awesome! If you can get over the gritty feeling of the product and the stinging sensation [at least you know it's working right?!], it is totally worth it! • Not For Me

  I'm really not a fan of the grainy texture. Used twice and couldn't carry on with it.

• Good value

  Love the smooth feeling this gives my skin, I don't find it grainy and gives the skin a light tingle but no irritation, have been using it nightly for a few weeks now and noticing the brightness in my skin for sure

• Velvet Soft

  Really soft velvety texture to apply, I've not experienced the "grainy" effect as other reviewers have. Gives a slight tingle to skin when applied, which for me always makes me feel like it's working! Great price point for a Vit C product, however I have tried others I enjoy more.

  This product I found lift my skin feel like dry and itchy. I didn’t enjoy it at all

• LOVE LOVE LOVE

  I started off using a lower dosage of vitamin C, which was the ascorbyl glucoside 12% solution; and then went straight onto this which is of the highest percentage of vitamin C but had no problems with it! I blend it in with my moisturiser to use at night and it does not sting at all :] Love how my skin glows after using this product!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE
