What stadium is 2023 world Cup?

The 2023 Women’s World Cup will play out at ten host stadiums in nine cities across Australia and New Zealand. The tournament will kick off at Eden Park in Auckland and conclude with the Championship Final at Stadium Australia in Sydney. Each country will host one of the semi-final matches: the first at Eden Park in Auckland, the second at Stadium Australia in Sydney.

There are 12 ICC World Cups have been played so far. England Wales have hosted the cricket World Cup 5 times and manage to won just one tournament so far. India has hosted the Cricket World Cup 3 times in association with three other countries but now the India will host the Cricket World Cup 2023 alone.

ICC World Cup Trophy

The very first ICC Cricket World Cup was held in 1975 in England and wales which was won the West Indies. Indian team had won the third edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1983 and 10th edition in 2011. 

This will be the first time that Cricket World Cup 2023 would be completely held on Indian soil. In the previous three editions 1987, 1996, and 2011; India shared the venue with Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively.

So India would host the 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023.
India was the first country which has won the ICC Cricket world cup in 2011 as a host nation and Australia has repeated this record in 2015 Cricket World Cup.

ICC World Cup 2023 would be played in India since 9 February 20123 to 26 March 2023. The tournament would be played in Round-Robin format. Venue for the final match is not decided yet.

Top 8 ICC ranking holding teams including host India will qualify automatically for this tournament and rest of the 2 teams will be selected in 2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League matches. So in total 10 teams would participate and total 48 matches would be played in the ICC World Cup 2023.
