Question: Q: remote desktop [very slow] vs smb data transfer speed difference
So I have a 5ghz wifi connection and the transfer speed is very good. The issue I'm having running [10.5.7] is that when I transfer a file 100MB through remote desktop it take 25 minutes. But when I use SMB/AFP it takes less than 20 seconds.
I'm wondering why that is and is anyone having the same issue? Was Remote Desktop broken in the updates?
