3. Hit enter and the application will run without any prompts. 

Disable Controlled Folder Access

It is a Windows feature to protect the files on your device from unauthorized modifications. If malware infects your computer and tries to affect the files, this feature will prevent it from making any changes to them. It will only allow trusted apps to access the folders. Here’s how to disable this feature. 

1. Type windowsdefender://threat/and hit enter.
2. On the Virus and threat protection window, find the Ransomware protection section.
3. Click on Manage ransomware protection.
4. Click on the Slider to change it to Off and disable the Control Folder Access feature. 

Enable the Net User Administrator

The administrator is kept hidden in the Windows Operating system. However, you can enable it and stop the Windows protected your PC message. This will bypass the error message and will run the file as administrator. 

1. Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
2. Type cmd and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter. This will start the command prompt with administrative privileges.
