Work from home laptop Reddit

LPT: If you work from home using a company provided P.C. use a post it to cover the camera. Companies are investing heavily in tech to "monitor" remote employees, and yes they can turn the camera on and yes, they do it. And NEVER use a company PC for anything personal, even if they say it's OK. from LifeProTips

New to reddit - I heard some communities here are very helpful, so I hope this is the case!

Im unable to work, and I do those surveys for money on the side, but I noticed more and more jobs are work from home these days. I have an old Mac air that I wouldnt use as a work computer [its on its last legs], but is it feasible to do it from a laptop? Has anyone had any success? Or is it a you should buy a desktop thing?
