Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Inno3D Chill GeForce GTX 1070 X4 with 8GB GDDR5 vram. A big thank you goes out to Inno3D for providing us with this review sample.
The iChill X4 GTX 1070’s GPU has a base clock of 1620MHz rising to a boost clock of 1822MHz. It is cooled by their impressive iChill X4 cooling solution using 3 fans with scythe blades, which they call PDCS [Power Direct Cooling System]. It also comes with GPU load indicators – Red for Full Gear Gaming, Green for Lower Power Gaming and Blue for Low Power Application.
With a price difference of around HK$2200 with its older brother, the iChill X4 GTX 1080, the iChill X4 GTX 1070 might just be perfect for those that want top quality gaming without having to fork out a premium for top-end hardware.

Today, a new reader review has been published on OCinside. This time DarkFacility takes a closer look at the Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 1070 X3 8GB graphics card. By rolling out the brand new generation, called pascal, nVidia decided to bring up two versions of the graphics card. There is the version called founders edition, which is the legacy reference design and the custom card. Those custom cards are special versions of the founders edition where manufacturers change specific parts, like the cooler or the power supply. With these customs designs manufacturers are trying to get more performance out of the GP104 chip. I want to take a look at a custom model made by Inno3D which is officially called Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 1070 X3.

Is a GTX 1070 8GB good?

Is GTX 1070 high end GPU?
In its time, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 was regarded as a capable mid-range graphics card for both gaming and general use, yet it falls behind the performance of the latest high-end GPUs, like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series, released since then.
What does the GTX 1070 compare to?
In terms of performance the gap between the flagship 1080 and 1070 averages 25%. Both GPUs have 8GB of DDR5 and although they share the same processing core [GP104], the 1070 has 25% of its resources disabled. Comparing performance between the 1070 and legendary GTX 970 shows that the newer 1070 wins by a whopping 50%.
Is 2060 better than 1070ti?
In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB are marginally better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.
