Mặt sau của máy vẫn thừa hưởng những điểm trên X-A7 như loại bỏ cụm nút D-Pad và thay bằng cần Joystick. Các chức năng của nút D-Pad đã được đưa vào màn hình cảm ứng của máy, ngoài ra còn có hai nút Menu và Back. Một khác biệt so với mặt sau của X-A7 chính là có thêm hai nút Fn “trắng”.
