In my opinion, customs and traditions are very important. Like other families, we have our own customs and traditions. Firstly, there's a tradition in our family of getting together on the first day of Tet. Everyone has tobe there throughout the day. We share every thing with my family members. Secondly, we have the custom of doing morning exercise at 5 a.m together. We always get up early and follow this customs. Thanks to doing morning exercise, we have good health. Thirdly, we visit the pagoda on the first day of every lunar month. This custom is that we have to buy fruit or incense for the pagoda each year. This year, we also prepared five-coloured sticky rice and worshipped Buddha. We all enjoy these customs and traditions because they provide our family with a sense of belonging.

Tết là ngày hội của dân tộc và gia đình. Đây là dịp để mọi người Việt Nam có khoảng thời gian vui vẻ khi nghĩ về năm vừa qua và năm sau. Vào dịp Tết, các hội chợ xuân được tổ chức, đường phố và các công trình công cộng được trang hoàng rực rỡ và hầu như tất cả các cửa hàng đều tấp nập người mua sắm Tết. Trong nhà, mọi thứ đều được dọn dẹp gọn gàng, thức ăn đặc biệt được nấu chín, đồ ăn, nước ngọt, hoa và trầu được bày trên bàn thờ gia tiên với những đốt nhang thơm ngào ngạt. Bước đầu tiên được thực hiện khi khách đến thăm may mắn và trẻ em được lì xì trong một phong bì nhỏ màu đỏ. Tết cũng là khoảng thời gian dành cho sự bình yên và yêu thương. Customs and traditions are very important in my opinion. Like other families, we have our own customs and traditions. First of all, there is a tradition in my family of having to clean the house before the 30th of Tet. Everyone is assigned easy work, some clean the house, sweep the cobwebs, others decorate the house, pack the banh chung, .... We have been following this tradition for 3 generations. Second, we have the custom of Sunday together. We often go back to our hometown to visit our grandparents and neighbors there. That custom makes us closer. We all like our customs and traditions because they give our family a sense of belonging.

Theo ý kiến tôi, phong tục và truyền thống rất quan trọng. Như những gia đình khác, chúng tôi có phong tục và truyền thống riêng. Đầu tiên, có một truyền thống trong gia đình tôi là phải dọn dẹp sạch sẽ nhà cửa xong trước ngày 30 tết. Ai cũng được phân công việc dõ dàng, người thì lau nhà, quét màng nhện, người thì trang trí nhà cửa, gói bánh chưng,....Chúng tôi đã theo truyền thống này trong 3 thế hệ. Thứ hai, chúng tôi có phong tục vào ngày Chủ nhật cùng nhau. Chúng tôi thường về quê thăm ông bà ngoại và bà con hàng xóm ở đó. Phong tục đó làm cho chúng tôi gần gũi với nhau hơn. Tất cả chúng tôi đều thích phong tục và truyền thống của chúng tôi bởi vì chúng đem đến cho gia đình chúng tôi một cảm giác thân thuộc về nhau.

First, everybody has to do their share of the household chores. For example, my mother cooks meals everyday, my father mends things around the house in his free time, my elder sister washes clothes and I usually clean the house. Second, I and my sister have to prepare meals. I think so. Because, my mother cooks meals and we should help her. It is a service which we express deep gratitude to mom. And my father will be happy if the meals are ready on the table by the time he gets home. During the school year, I'm not allowed to watch TV or talk on the phone. My parents don't allow me to access the internet for amusement. In fact, I miss them, but I know my parents want me to concentrate on studying. It's good for me. Next, whenever problems come up, we must discuss them frankly and find solutions quickly, or before making an important decision. I had to be allowed by my parents.The most important rule is frankness. All members have to speak honestly so that we can believe in each other. All in all, family rules are necessary.

Đầu tiên, mọi người phải chia sẻ công việc nhà. Ví dụ, mẹ tôi nấu ăn hàng ngày, bố tôi dọn dẹp mọi thứ xung quanh nhà vào thời gian rảnh, chị gái tôi giặt quần áo và tôi thường lau nhà. Tet is a cultural and traditional beauty of Vietnamese people. It is a day for people to gather and reunite together to express love and respect for their family members. These are also good customs and practices of Vietnamese people. As for my family, whenever Tet comes, my family is busy preparing everything that each family needs to do to celebrate a happy Tet. Every day on the 28th or 29th of the lunar new year, the whole family brings a large pot and prepares ingredients such as sticky rice, banana leaves, green beans ... to prepare a package of banh chung. And one thing that is indispensable in the Lunar New Year is the tray of five fruits. Five fruits placed on the ancestor altar to pray for a new year of peace, luck, wellbeing, wealth and happiness. It can be said that Tet is a special day for every Vietnamese person, it represents a traditional beauty and culture that each person has preserved for generations. Tet is also a custom, good customs of my family in general, and everyone in particular. Each of us must promote and preserve the cultural beauties of the nation.
