The presence of Mass media in our modern society is very strong, where the access to technology has become available for almost all parts of the world that enables them to stay connected with whatever is happing around them. Due to that a big majority are so dependent on this connection that even their states of mind and mentalities are directly impacted by messages, news and different information conveyed through broad communications channels. Mass media influence our activities, views, and standards. At our current time a culture can be directly reflected and seen through mass media, this is a mediated culture means.When it comes to the strength of mass media influence the US is a great example. Charles Wright [1975] distinguished a few courses in which Mass media adds to making harmony in the public eye. He said that the media arranges and relates information that is important to the individual given his interests and location. Mass media is an important mean of socialization. Cultures are viewed and shared through the media. The media controls the society, where many would express their feelings, thoughts and problems through it to relieve themselves which helps in reducing social clashes that would have occurred.
Late night drama shows and news broadcasted by news channels are equilibriums that portray the functionalists thought. In the two cases, all acts that are found to be profound and lacking quality are refined by viewing them as unsuitable and incorrect. Different criminalities ranging from murder thefts and abuse appeared as twisted behavior. The world feels much smaller because of mass media, Individuals gather together to watch special events like the world cup and the Olympics where they, discuss what they saw and share their feeling [Schudson
