Dicapac wp s10 waterproof case review năm 2024

I thought when I ordered it that, like some other waterproof enclosures, it would actually have a filter ring connection to keep the lens centered on the port, but it doesn't. The 82mm description is just the maximum size a lens can be at the end, where the material switches from soft vinyl to hard plastic.

The 50-135 fits pretty well (with no hood), and because it's an internal zoom, would be most flexible, but it's very difficult to zoom with the small finger sleeves, they're not quite placed right for the 50-135's zoom ring, and my copy is a bit stiff.

My Tamron 28-75/2.8 - without the hood, it fits and can zoom from 28-75, but it doesn't stay centered in the port, and I end up with a black crescent on part of the image if I'm not careful. With the hood, it stays centered just about perfectly, but can only zoom to around 50mm. Next I'll try it with the hood reversed, since you can't manual focus it anyway, and that should keep it centered.

Waterproofing -- it worked flawlessly in my initial tests. It's like a heavy duty ziplock style bag that you roll up tightly and strips of velcro keep the rolling tightly sealed, and then additional closure over that to keep you from accidentally tearing open the velcro seals.

Based on my tests with it, I think I'm going to try and exchange it for the WP-S5, which is the size that's recommended for Pentax DSLRs. On that one, the lens can only be 50mm long, but I have a Pentax 28-70/f4 that should fit in there and do the trick.

Of course, that's for using it while boating and so on, where I'm just paranoid it might fall in the water. For underwater, I'd probably try a wide angle, and I'm sure the 15mm or 10-20 would work great (in the WP-S5, anyway)
