The Body Shop recently had a sale, where if you spend €50 you get €25 off your order and standard free shipping. A friend of mine and I are huge Body Shop junkies and we just had to buy some things. I bought a body yogurt and two skincare products from their Tea Tree line. This particular friend of mine is already familiar with their Tea Tree products and she loves them. The two products I got are the Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution and the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash.

This Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution contains purifying tea tree oil from the foothills of mount Kenya. This product interested me, because I have heard te tree oil is the way to go against those impurities.

On the back of the packaging is also mentioned what kind of results you could see when using this product. It says after 1st use your skin will feel more purified, soothed and will look oil free. After 7 days the overall appearance of skin is improved. Looks clearer smoother healthier, with no pore-clogging affect. After 4 weeks the number of imperfections will look visibly reduced and skin appears mattified. It sounds very promising.

When you use the solution apply 2-3 drops onto your fingertips and massage it all over your face. You should apply it every morning and evening after cleansing and before you use your moisturizer.

At my first use I was surprised to find out that this solution doesn’t have an oily consistency at all. I did expect it to, because on the back it is very clearly mentioned there is tea tree oil in it. I do like the consistency, it’s not too watery of too oily and absorbs fast. I feel like some tea tree products can be very harsh on your skin, but I don’t feel that way with this product. It’s very mild on the skin, so I don’t have to worry that my skin will get dried out.

I bought a tiny version of their Skin Clearing Facial Mask when I ordered, because we didn’t reach the €50 mark yet and we needed another product. The tiny version of their tea tree cleanser was only €2, so I thought why not.

I really like this cleanser and I think I might purchase it again, even though I’m not that keen on cleansers. This cleanser has the same tea tree oil in it as the solution, but just like that one, it’s also not harsh for the skin at all. It does tingle a bit when you use it, but I like that feeling, because I feel like it really does something for my skin. I feel like this is a great cleanser for my oily skin!
