1. Động cơ

Kawasaki Z1000 vẫn giữ nguyên khối động cơ DOHC, dung tích 1.043 cc, công suất 140 mã lực tại 10.000 vòng/phút và mô-men xoắn 111 Nm tại 7.300 vòng/phút. Tuy nhiên các chuyên gia của hãng đã hiệu chỉnh lại ECU giúp xe đạt chuẩn về khí thải Euro 4 cũng như để động cơ vận hành mượt mà trơn tru hơn.

• Hệ thống nồi chống trượt Assist And Slipper Clutch được trang bị trên xe giúp giảm thiểu tình trạng nhảy bánh, trượt bánh khi vào cua hoặc chuyển số gấp.
• Z1000R được trang bị van tiết lưu kép được điều khiển tự động bằng hệ thống ECU đảm bảo hoạt động tuyến tính và nâng cao hiệu suất sử dụng nhiên liệu của động cơ.
• Bên cạnh đó tính năng tiết kiệm nhiên liệu ECO cũng được bổ sung cho Z1000 2021 giúp tiết kiệm nhiên liệu hơn cho những chuyến dạo mát, hoặc di chuyển trong đô thị.

Xe còn được sử dụng hệ thống điều khiển bướm ga điện tử. Với hệ thống hút gió thay đổi và hệ thống điều khiển ECU nâng cấp trên các phiên bản xe mới mạnh hơn, tăng tốc tốt hơn và vận hành êm ái hơn cùng hộp số 6 cấp nhẹ nhàng.

2. Ống xả

Kawasaki Z1000 trang bị hệ thống ống xả bằng thép không gỉ tương tự bản cũ. Gắp đôi đa liên kết được bố trí phía sau giúp xe tăng độ ổn định khi vào cua. Hành trình có hành trình 135 mm, phuộc sau monoshock cả 2 đều có thể tùy chỉnh được theo mục đích của người dùng.

c)Hệ thống phuộc

Ngoài ra Z1000 còn được trang bị hệ thống phuộc trước trước Showa SFF-BP 41 mm (Separate Function Fork-Big Piston’s), phuộc sau Ohlins S46DR1S dạng liên kết ngang.

Thiết kế này giúp phân bổ trọng lượng tập trung và giảm thiểu khối lượng, nhiệt độ từ động cơ đến bộ phanh từ đó tăng khả năng cân bằng và độ linh hoạt đáng kể.

c)Mức tiêu thụ nhiên liệu

Kawasaki Z1000 chạy được bao nhiêu km 1 lít xăng là câu hỏi được rất nhiều người đặt ra trước khi quyết định mua xe này. Bình xăng được tăng dung tích từ 15 lít trên Z1000 lên 19 lít để phù hợp với mục đích đi xa. Mức tiêu thụ nhiên liệu trung bình của mẫu xe này là 6,2 lít/100 km. Tương đương với khoảng 1 lít/16km. Khi đổ đầy bình xăng, xe có thể chạy quãng đường 327 km. Nhà sản xuất khuyến cáo nên sử dụng xăng A95 để xe đạt hiệu suất cao nhất.

• A late post for Chris who picked up his 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R on Valentine’s Day this year and what a way to show his love for Kawasaki’s screaming litre in-line 4 engine, after owning and trading a 2017 ZX10R model on the latest generation. • This is Juan on his Kawasaki Z400, from Procycles Kawasaki Sydney. The spritely Z400 is a stunningly designed motorcycle that delivers 44 hp from a 399cc parallel twin engine and has a capable chassis, same as the Ninja 400. The Z, however, provides a more upright riding position and streetfighter styling. Beginners or riders with shorter inseams will appreciate the Z’s narrow seat and its relatively low 30.9-inch height, which makes for an easy step down when at the lights. An assist and slipper clutch helps limit left hand fatigue when navigating through the six-speed transmission. The brakes are superb. Dual-piston calipers grip onto petal discs (310mm and 220mm, front/rear) with standard ABS ready for sudden stops. Juan is going to have so much fun on this bike. Thanks for choosing Procycles. • Daryl collected his 2023 Kawasaki KLR650 from Procycles Kawasaki Sydney some time ago. He chose this model for it’s rugged reliability, nimble handling and better fuel efficiency over the previous models. Another clincher was the low centre of gravity and terrific suspension. Both the 41mm KYB conventional forks and piggyback shock give you a confident feel. At slow speeds the suspension action is plush, fluid, and smooth. Hit a bump at faster speeds and the suspension absorbs it without a drama. This is one of the most approachable and easy-to-handle adventure bikes on the market.
