ARTICLE IVDEFINITION OF CITIZEN SOLDIERSSEC. 11.Citizen Soldiers.—The citizen soldiers,alternately referred to as reservists, whocompose the Reserve Force are those reservistsof the Armed Forces of the Philippines who areincorporated into the Reserve Force, as follows:(1) Graduates of the Reserve Officers’ TrainingCorps (ROTC) basic and advance courses andwho were issued orders as enlisted reservists orreserve officers of the AFP; (2) Graduates of authorized basic military traininginstructions who, as a result thereof, were issuedorders as enlisted reservists or reserve officers;(3) Ex-servicemen and retired officers of the AFP andother armed forces that have diplomatic relationswith the Philippines who were honorably dischargedor retired from the service and who are Filipinocitizens upon their appplication;(4) Recognized World War II guerrillas who werehonorably discharged from the service;ARTICLE IVDEFINITION OF CITIZEN SOLDIERS (5) Commissioned and noncommissioned officersunder the Affiliated Reserves category andgraduates of the National Defense College of thePhilippines (NDCP); and(6) Commissioned, noncommissioned officers andprivates under the existing laws including thoseprocured under project 36-70 and included inthe present AFP roster before the enactment ofthis Act and those to be commissioned orenlisted after the enactment of this Act.
