Anthelios shaka tinted fluid spf50+ review năm 2024

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my review of a popular western sunscreen by La Roche Posay, the Anthelios Invisible fluid SPF50+. I purchased this in boots over a year or two ago and it seems this is an old formulation because the packaging on the website now has a slightly different name which is ANTHELIOS UVMUNE 400 INVISIBLE FLUID SPF50+ which looks like they have included additional UV filters in the new version that I don’t have.

That being said, I’ve since read mixed reviews on the new formulation with many saying the old one (which I’m reviewing today) was superior in texture and finish and already did a great job of protecting the skin whereas the new formulation doesn’t feel as good on the skin, and then others who adore the new formulation just as much. I have no idea about the new formulation so I won’t talk about it further and just focus on the old one I used for reference purposes.

I briefly mentioned this sunscreen in a recent sunscreen collection post I wrote and also in my June 2023 Beauty Empties, and today I’ll be sharing a more detailed review of my experience using it, but first as usual I’ll share some general information about it.

Texture & Finish: Very thin and runny upon application but as you work it into the skin it starts to thicken and feel more powdery/ pasty. Feels comfortable on the skin with a semi-matte silky smooth finish and is not greasy.

My Experience

I really like how lightweight and runny this sunscreen is and it spreads really easily and evenly over the skin. Although it is runny, as you work it in, it has some body to it and starts to thicken a little feeling creamier and slightly pasty which I quite like the sensation of. The roller ball inside that helps to shake up the product also makes quite a satisfying clicking sound when shaking the bottle; it’s not something important but I did like it so it’s being mentioned.

It doesn’t leave a white cast and blends seamlessly into the skin. It’s weightless yet moisturising and makeup applies nicely over it too. Reapplication is also a breeze and it doesn’t pill up or feel heavy or greasy.

It provides excellent sun protection and was a life-saver sunscreen on my recent summer holiday to the Turkish coast. It works really well to protect the skin from burning providing you re-apply it regularly when out in the sun.

I do sometimes get whiteheads from it when it’s a particularly hot and sweaty day, so it’s important to thoroughly remove it with a double cleanse at the end of the day to prevent this from occurring.

Another thing to note is that when applying it the fluid looks white, however, I noticed when I dropped some on a white towel that it’s more of a pale yellow and leaves a stain on white fabrics, but thankfully washes away easily.

It’s definitely the best Western sunscreen I’ve ever used, however, this particular formulation is no longer available and I don’t think I want to try the new one because many reviews say it feels different and inferior, plus I already have other favourite Korean and Japanese sunscreens that I’d rather use.

Will I repurchase? I would have, but can’t as this version is no longer available.

Have you used this sunscreen before? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments section, also if you’ve tried the new version, please do let me know what you think of it and if you think I should try it 😀

Is La Roche

Love it. I really love this product, I mix it in with another sunscreen that has a thicker consistency and the two combined are perfect for me for every day use. Great color and helps my skin look flawless throughout the day.

How long does La Roche

Reapply again after exercise, swimming or towelling: at least once every two hours. Perfect Make-up base.
