If you want to get divorced, then visit the shrine at the highest point in Olive Town, located behind the museum. Once you're married, you'll notice that a new option, called 'Special Prayer' will have been added and selecting it will give you the option to 'Reset Family Status.' The game will then ask you to confirm whether you want to be single again - just in case you change your mind - and, if you select 'Be Single Again,' the day will end, erasing your romantic relationship. Since the day will automatically end, we suggest making sure you take care of any farm related business, such as watering crops, before resetting your family status.
