Neuro peak brain support supplement reviews năm 2024

Neuro Peak is a nootropic supplement produced by Zhou Nutrition. Designed using "only natural ingredients" to provide "peak performance when you need it most", Neuro Peak claims it can improve memory, focus, mood, clarity, mental energy, and cognition.

Unfortunately, it doesn't take long to realise that these Neuro Peak claims can't stand up to even the slightest bit of scrutiny.

The issues lie in the Neuro Peak ingredients. The main formula includes bacopa monnieri extract, huperzine serrata, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, DMAE bitartrate, rhodiola rosea, and vitamin b12. Other ingredients present are vegetable cellulose, stearic acid, silica, and rice flour.

With the exception of vitamin b12, none of the "all natural" ingredients are actually proven to have nearly the level of beneficial effects on mental performance that Zhou Nutrition claim. This means you are relying solely on hyperbolic claims and hoping the dietary supplement will actually work.

Even worse is the fact that some of the ingredients, such as huperzine serrata, are used in doses far smaller than even the studies that support them suggests. That means, even if they are proven to work, they will be of no use in Neuro Peak, due to the quantity that is present.

This issue extends to the one proven ingredient, vitamin b12, as well, which is present in a dose that is just half what it should be.

While Neuro Peak is admittedly a very cheap product, it is a clear case of you get what you pay for, as it simply isn't going to support cognition, mood, memory, or mental clarity in the way Zhou Nutrition claim.

If you really want a dietary supplement to help increase mental performance, we'd recommend Hunter Focus over Neuro Peak. While it may cost a little more, it will actually support mood, memory, focus, and cognition in the way you hoped, allowing it to offer far better value, it does this by including the couple of functional ingredients in neuro peak in the correct doses and containing several other ingredients that in many cases are more effective than Neuro Peak.

Customers Neuro Peak Reviews

Neuro Peak currently holds a 4 out of 5 star rating on Amazon, which looks good but not great at first glance. Almost all of the positive reviews claim Neuro Peak works to help them focus, while others mention small improvements in short term memory and mental clarity as well.

However, on reading a little further, these "positive" reviews also own up to a few other things. Not only do many of the reviewers suffer from ADD, but some also mention using up to four times the daily recommended dose. Then, when looking at the negative reviews, there were two common complaints, those being a lack of any effect on memory, focus, or clarity, and a list of "extreme" potential side effects.

These side effects include depression, mood swings, anxiety, sleep disturbance, sweating, dry mouth, memory problems, heartburn, headaches, muscle cramps and weakness, abdominal pain, skin irritations, photosensitivity, an stomach upset or allergic reaction and much more. This suggests that, if you have ADD, are happy to take far more than one capsule per day and risk extreme side effects to get a slight increase in clarity, you may like Neuro Peak. If not, it is likely not an ideal dietary supplement for you.

Zhou Neuro Peak Ingredients

Bacopa Monnieri Extract (Leaf) - 200 MG

Bacopa monnieri leaf extract is sourced from an aquatic plant in the plantain family found in tropical environments known as Bacopa. It has been used in traditional medicine for decades, due to claims that it offers a wide range of health benefits.

This includes improving brain function, reducing stress and anxiety, and helping to combat multiple chronic illnesses, both mental and physical (1).

The problem is, while the studies are encouraging, the claimed benefits of bacopa monnieri have never been proven conclusively. This makes basing your whole product around it extremely risky, as it is possible it wont support brain function or mental performance at all.

Huperzine Serrata - 500 MCG

Huperzine serrata is a type of firmoss that studies suggest inhibits the enzyme acetylcholine, which allows it to prevent the breakdown of neurotransmitters, particularly in the elderly.

This can help to slow or prevent cognitive decline and the development of Alzheimer's disease, while also being able to improve memory, brain function, and sleep (2).

There are, unfortunately, two problems with its inclusion though. Firstly, most of the studies have been done on animals, and there is not yet any conclusive proof that it will actually benefit the cognitive abilities of, or provide anti aging benefits to humans.

Then, even if it does work, the studies that support it suggest using a daily dose of between 50 and 200 mcg. This means the 500 mcg present in each serving of Neuro Peak is far too strong.

Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract (Supplying 57 MG Of Ginkgo Flavonclycosides [24%]) - 240 MG

Ginkgo biloba extract comes from the leaves of a tree native to China called the ginkgo biloba or maidenhair tree. It's been used in traditional Chinese medicine for years, due to beliefs that it is full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories.

Among its many purported benefits are an ability to boost the function of your brain, eyes, and heart, leading to improved vision, circulation, blood flow to the brain, and mental clarity and performance, while also preventing oxidative stress and inhibiting neurotoxic effects (3).

Unfortunately, these beneficial effects have only been conclusively proven in older people, meaning it may be of no use to the rest of the population.

Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract - 50 MG

Rhodiola rosea root extract is taken from the Arctic flowering plant of the same name. It contains more than 140 different micronutrients and has been used in herbal medicine for decades, due to claims it can help with conditions like anxiety, depression, stress, and fatigue.

It is thought to have adaptogenic properties that boost concentration and focus, provide mood and stress support, reduce inflammation, improve cognition and energy, enhance metabolic processes, and help to improve your health and combat certain chronic illnesses (4).

The issues with rhodiola rosea are, yet again, mainly with the evidence and dosages.

Not only have all studies currently been done in vitro, rather than in humans, but they also suggest that the minimum daily dosage required is 288 mg, which is far more than the 50 mg of rhodiola rosea in Neuro Peak.

There have also been potential side effects linked to rhodiola rosea as well, including dizziness, dry mouth, and the possibility of interactions with other drugs in your system.

DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) Bitartrate - 50 MG

DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) is a derivative of choline, which has the ability to enhance the production of neurotransmitters, reduce mental fatigue, inflammation, cognitive decline, brain fog, and hyperactivity, and boost memory, focus, mood, nerve function, and skin health (5).

There are even claims it can offer side benefits, like improving recovery time, muscular contractions, and physical performance.

Unfortunately, while there is some evidence to show it can improve skin health and slow down cognitive decline in the elderly, there is no proof that it truly offers the other benefits it claims.

Vitamin B12 (As Methylcobalamin) - 500 MCG

Vitamin b12 is an essential vitamin that plays a vital role in the development of brain cells and the function of nerves. It can also help to prevent depression, mood swings, cognitive decline, brain fog, and the development of conditions like vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

It can even offer benefits to other areas of your body, such as helping to produce DNA, nerve sheaths, red blood cells, testosterone, and bone marrow, while boosting your metabolism.

While this is the first ingredient in Neuro Peak that is conclusively proven to work, the dosage is again an issue.

To enjoy the beneficial effects of vitamin b12, you must consume at least 1,000 mcg each day (6). As Neuro Peak contains just 500 mcg of vitamin b12 per serving, it is only half the required strength, so will produce minimal results, if any at all.

Neuro Peak Review Conclusion

Zhou Nutrition market Neuro Peak as a perfect dietary supplement to support memory, focus, and clarity, among other things, but it falls well short of these claims at every hurdle.

Not only are almost all the ingredients unproven and those that are are present in ineffective doses, but customers widely claim to have felt no benefits, while opening themselves up to some truly horrible side effects. We therefore highly recommend against buying Neuro Peak.

If you want a dietary supplement to give you the brain support you need, we suggest choosing Hunter Focus instead. It may cost a little more, but it will actually support memory, mental energy, concentration, focus, and brain functions, making it far better value all round.
