I came across this website when I was looking to buy a new sunscreen since the Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 55 one kept burning my eyes. Turns out the Neutrogena one is one of the worst ones you can buy based on UVA protection and health concerns, and the new one I just bought (Babyganics) has low toxicity but only moderate UVA protection. After learning this, I figured I'd post about my experience here to hopefully help other people struggling to find a good sunscreen. About the website: The website rates sunscreens on a score from 1-10, with 1 being the best and 10 being the worst. 2/3 of the score is based on UVA protection, and the remaining 1/3 is based on health concerns. If the product has other things like comes in a spray form, contains oxybenzone, or has misleading SPF, then its score is further reduced. FYI, I don't think they look at Asian brands (Biore, Missha, etc.) or expensive ones (Elta MD, Skinceuticals, Peter Thomas Roth, Murad, Obage etc.) Also, this webite gives a good succinct overview of sunscreen protection and ingredients.
