Solution

Let cost price (C.P) = Rs. 100 Profit =50% ∴ Selling Price (S.P) =C.P×(100+gain%)100=100×(100+50)100=100×150100=Rs.150 Rate of discount =25% ∴ Marked Price =S.P×100100−discount% =Rs.150×100100−25=Rs.150×10075 =Rs.200 Now Ratio between C.P and M.P =Rs. 100 : Rs. 200 = 1 : 2
