Call of duty ww2 review metacritic năm 2024

CoD: WWII's The Resistance DLC is a strong start to the DLC packs for WW2. While the highlight is certainly The Darkest Shore zombie map, the other four map additions are certainly welcome, and offer some much needed variety to the multiplayer mode.

The Resistance DLC adds needed map variety to multiplayer and introduces another fun Nazi Zombies map. The tighter, dense map Valkyrie gives the new Resistance Division a chance to shine with plenty of close combat opportunities, while Anthropoid offers snipers space to work their magic.

The first of four planned DLC packs for Call of Duty: WW2 has arrived for PC and Xbox One owners after being available for PS4 owners for a month. The Resistance keeps the usual theme of four new maps and a new episode for the Zombie series but this time does it with a bit of a twist. Usually players see the name of the DLC in the Multiplayer menu and once selected; players can see the various modes available to play the new maps in. Resistance does away with this and puts the content in the “Featured” area where players have to play either standard or Hardcore Mosh pits and experience the maps in a rotating selection of game modes vs picking a mode. The three maps available are Anthropoid Based in Prague; this is a detailed map with a river, central bridge and lots of terrain to cover. Snipers will love the central area but those who want to run and gun can have some luck if they make sure to duck in and out of buildings. Occupation This is a remastered map set in Paris where multiple levels, side streets, shops, and vehicle littered streets allow for some great mid to close range combat. This is a fast-paced map where you can set an ambush, sneak up on enemies, or squad up to take the streets. Valkyrie If you like a nice run and gun mode based in bunkers; this is the mode for you. Inspired by the Eastern Front headquarters; this is a fast action map ideal for players of all styles. The fourth map is only available in War mode and is Operation Intercept. Set in France, players need to set up communications, stop a train, and other team based missions. The new Zombie mode is The Darkest Shore and pits the four heroes on a remote island where the Undead come fast and often. The map mixes bunkers, beaches, and emplacements with the usual weapon, armor, and power up stations and gameplay players got to expect in the original mission. This time a think and concealing fog will roll in frequently which adds a new danger as you must fight the unending hordes with limited visibility. Resistance provides more WW2 action for gamers and while it does not radically change the online portion of the game, it does offer some new wrinkles for fans to enjoy and should keep fans happy until the next DLC arrives. 3.5 stars out of 5

The Resistance is a very weak DLC. It feels as if it should have been free considering the main game only comes with 8 Multi-player maps. The DLC comes with 2 new MP maps, 1 remaster from MW3 and 1 War map. The two new MP maps have now provided the game with the correct amount of maps WW2 should have had at launch, a very pricey addition to the COD franchise when you add it all up. The resistance also comes with a zombies map, which I don't play but I'm sure will please the many fans who play COD just for zombies. Out of the two new maps you get, one is okay the other absolutely terrible, meaning for 11.99 you get one map worth playing and a map from MW3 which was remastered last year in COD IW so hardly feels fresh and exciting. Occupation: Occupation is a remaster of the map Resistance from MW3. It was remastered again last year in COD IW with a few twists that made it work well with the exo abilities and movement, it worked very well and was a welcome return, so why did Sledgehammer remaster the map again? Bizarrely the IW remaster was only released in July 2017, less than 6 months ago. There's so many brilliant past maps to choose from to remaster such as Favela MW2, Scrapyard MW2 or Quarry MW2 it really does show a lack of creativity from Sledgehammer. Despite the odd choice to remaster Resistance again, it's the best map in the DLC. Which says a lot. It plays well on all modes and flows well. Lag does ruin many of the games but when you finally find a good lobby with limited lag it's a great map. Valkyrie: Valkyrie is the second best map. Set in and around a series of bunkers and surrounding woods the map is based on The Wolfs Lair which was **** Eastern-Front headquarters. The map plays well on most modes, has a good flow, and sticks to the classic 3 route structure. Graphically the map is good with some nice use of colour due to the surrounding greenery. Anthropoid: This is the worst map in the DLC and possibly now the worst map in the game. It's an illogical mess. There are way to many angles to get shot from. Most of the time you run round aimlessly without encountering anyone only to be shot be a camper in a building or sat in a corner. It plays badly on all modes and only really favors long range weapons. There's way to many flanking routes, head glitch spots and random corners and angles. The flow is completely off and most players just camp. War map - Operation Intercept: This is another poor map. It's lifeless and dull and has little character. It feels smaller than the other war maps and there's only one way to play it. Thinking is not encouraged as the map is just a series of three very tight choke points. You just need to charge and hope the enemy isn't a team of campers, otherwise you are not going to be having much fun. You'll likely play it only 3 or 4 times before never playing again. Little has been done to fix the lag issues and the DLC is no better. You never know when you will shoot first and die first and 90% of deaths are due to poor hit detection and lag. It's a very frustrating experience. There are no free weapons with the DLC or skins. This is it. 2 new maps, a remaster that's been done twice before and a dreadful, unoriginal War map. For 3.99 I'd feel this DLC was almost a fair price, but 11.99 is a rip off.

A solid expansion that lacks a wow factor. It failed to surprise me but I found two (out of three) new maps to be really good. [04/2018, p.48]

While the multiplayer maps aren’t exactly breaking the mold, the latest zombies is quite literally killer and whether you’re a fan of the war game mode or not, you’ll enjoy the latest addition to it in Operation Intercept.

Expansion The Resistance leaves us with mixed emotions. If it’s not for the zombies story, the DLC wouldn’t be all that special. In the end it’s a matter of personal preference: normal multiplayer or zombies?

When assessing these packs I try to rate the sum of their parts, and more often than not, the A-game of the zombie team elevates these DLCs. Call of Duty: WWII: The Resistance is another one of those times where the extra bits upstage the main attraction of the maps.

Even though the core WWII game remains one of the better CoD installments the same cannot be said for the Resistance DLC pack. The genuine new content is disappointing in both numbers and quality.

Very very weak DLC. It seems that releasing DLCs is no longer a way of refreshing the game but a way to try to sell as much as possible doing the minimum effort.

Boring and uninspired. You pay $15 for 3 new multiplayer maps, a remake of an old map, and a purely trash zombies map. Don't waste your money. Don't support this game.

Was Call of Duty WW2 good?

Call of Duty: WW2 is the best Call of Duty in years. Bombastic story, killer grounded multiplayer, and a dark and scary Zombies make up one of the most complete and enjoyable Call of Duty experiences in years. Multiplayer is better because of War mode and the slowing of the superhuman speeds.

Is CoD WW2 better than battlefield 1?

If you enjoy a fast paced gameplay when it comes to multiplayer, then it will definitely be CoD WWII. It's physics are great, but unrealistic. If you enjoy the slower paced action, and more of a realistic feel (as much as you can get in a game anyway), then BF1 will be your go-to.

Is CoD WW2 a hard game?

Call of Duty: WWII is a hard game. There is no regenerating health, which means you have to rely on med packs you find around the environment or ask the medic in your squad to throw you one. You have to make sure you manage your health through the chaotic firefights, but also your inventory.

How many hours does it take to beat CoD WW2?

Call of Duty: WWII Campaign Length If you have played any Call of Duty campaign before, you will not be surprised to hear that an average playthrough of Call of Duty: WWII clocks in at around the seven hour mark. Once you are done, though, you can always go back and tackle it on harder difficulties.
